MadMen Fashion Event in Chicago

A few weeks ago I told you guys about a few fashion events going on in Chicago for what is basically Chicago's Fashion week. I only ended up going to the one that my friend was showing at, but it was a ton of fun! I tried to take some pictures of the amazingly lavish Blackstone hotel, but of course I'm not photographer and I don't have a flash cube on my camera. But I did the best that I could with what I have.

The show was sponsored by Hennessy so you know it was classy. We had a good time dancing and nibbling on appetizers and some of the outfits presented were really well done. The event was hosted by interior design companies so all of the designers had to use interior fabrics to create their master pieces. I have to say it was really interesting to see what some of these designers could do with upholstery.

Oh hello lovely ladies!

These were two outfits I thought were pretty well done. The theme of the show was retro cocktail party and they fit the mood. I love the upholstery bunny suit. The bunny was also super nice.

This is my lovely designer friend Jessica next to her model wearing the coat she designed! Isn't it adorable? I want one in my closet.
