Monday Design: Cozy and Chic Guest Cottage

New interior designer obsession: Angela Free. I have already been through the whole website and now I can't wait until it's updated with the latest projects. Creepy, yes I know. But I can't help it! Free's decorating skills are so soft and feminine, but fun and playful at the same time. Particularly I fell in love with this guest cottage she designed. Doesn't it make you feel like you're in a dream?

Where do I sign up to be a guest in this cottage? 

 

That view! That chandelier! This space is so luxurious and opulent without being overwhelming (ahem, gaudy). The simple elegance in this cottage is dripping from every corner. 

 This back splash just kills it for me. It's a guest cottage so the cooking space is always going to be very small, but look how big of a statement it makes! It even looks like light is coming through the back of it. I'd love to add something fun like this to my home kitchen.

This is just one example of Free's designs, but it's a very good example. One day, I will have the kind of money that designed this guest cottage. Or, probably not, but a girl can day dream.
