Have you ever wondered what it would be like to walk through a rainbow? Well
Schmidt/Hammer/Lassen Architects have created an amazing rainbow glass panoramic rooftop to do just that. So, if you're ever in Denmark go to the tipy-top of the
ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum and you can get a panoramic view like you've never seen before. Every few steps gives you a different colored perspective. Very cool. I imagine I'd have to see what it looks like in all weather conditions to see how the light penetrates through the glass panels. I'm a very visual person. Generally, I have a tendency to drool over museum architecture because it's endlessly intricate and always visually appealing. Who wants to go into a dark and dreary place that looks like it's falling apart? This is why museums spend so much time and money on the architecture, it's a case where the thing itself is why you pay money to gain access inside. Smart Denmark. I'm keeping one eye on you.
Cool huh? I'd love to take a walk through this rainbow one day. And if the pictures weren't enough, here's a fun little Vimeo!
