What I Wore Wednesday - The Goth Chic Edition

Ok, so maybe it's not goth chic, but I sure did feel a lot darker than usual. Must be something with the weather. I'm sure leaving my house in the dark and getting home in the dark isn't helping either, but when it came down to it, I got an awesome black sheer over-sized button down that I was dying to show off. So here I am showing it off.

Shirt: by Lush from local boutique
Skirt: from local boutique
Jacket: B.B. Dakota
Tights: David and Co
Shoes: Urban Outfitters

 Black ring: Urban Outfitters
Crystal ring: from a trip to Amsterdam

There is something so amazingly 90s about this sheer black button down and oh how I love the 90s.

Necklaces and bracelets: from a local boutique
One thing to note (in case I haven't mentioned this already), I worked at a small women's boutique in Chicago for a little over three years and right after I moved on to my current job, I moved in right next door (and take most of my pictures on its roof shhhh!). Oh yea the irony, I know! Anyway, most of my clothes came and still come from there because it is a.) convenient and b.) affordable. So my apologies if the whole "from a local boutique" is getting tedious or sounding pretentious, I swear it's not supposed to.

Also, note to self: get a new lip color. Shesh. Make-up was never really my strong suit.

Anyway, until tomorrow folks!
Maggie

  1. The blue goes nicely with the orange lights behind you and the blue in the Swedish Museum.
